i am going to make myself crazy trying to decide what to do for the
ceremony, so I thought I would get some imput from friends and family about
my thoughts.

The plan was to do the wedding outside weather permitting. Well, when we
tried to figure out where to do it, and how the pictures would come out (to
not get unwanted things in the pictues, with houses at the water, fences in
the background, and vehicles that will be parked in the yard), we decided to
do it inside.
There is not much space and everyone would have to stand (not a problem, but
some people would not even be able to be in the room the ceremony would be
held in because it's not big enough). after I thought about it more, it
will be hard for us to walk up the 'aisle' because there will be no
designated 'aisle'.
over the last few days I have thought about having it outside again, but in
the front instead of the back (we had never considered doing it in the
front)
If we walked from around back of the house (there is a cement walkway) and
have the ceremony on the porch. Our guest would be on the lawn (and
possibly have a few chairs for the parents/grandparents) we would be
elvated so that everyone would be able to see us (whereas inside, everyone
would not be able to see).
The only problem would be is if the weather would not cooperate. I may be
marrying a metoroligist, but that doesn't mean he can control the
weather!;-)
Should I just plan on having it inside since the house is gorgeous? or
should I plan on having it outside as originally planned, only in the front
instead of back, with the alternate plan of taking it inside if it's
raining?

if you go to this page:

you will see the inside and out of The Hanson House.

(if we put lights in the trees, candalabras along the walkway, candles on
the porch...all at sunset...it would be beautiful!)

DECISIONS DECISIONS..... :-D

Hello Ros,
What if you rented a tent and some chairs for the ceremony? This way you everyone would still be able to see you and your groom, and if the weather doesn't stay all sunny, everyone will stay dry. Party rental stores sometimes have special sales going on.

Good luck,
Cheryl

I viewed your website and everything it beautiful. I agree that a tent would probably be the best. That way if it does rain you won't have the stress of moving everything to the inside in a rush.
Good luck!!!
