If you can afford it, use orchids as your flowers. This will give you that Asian feeling. The umberellas are just parasols.
Here is a site that as them and they are pretty inexpensive.

For favors, you can give out chopsticks, incense, asian pears, fortune cookies, fans.
For table decoration, you can use a zin centerpiece. Maybe use some stones, with an single orchid in a vase. If you can afford it, bonsi trees are very different, but expensive. If you have a local garden shop and see if you can rent some.

Here is a fun way to entertain your guest. I was going to do this for my wedding, but we changed it to a dw. Forgot to mention, I made a booklet with the Chinese Zodiac.
Here is the one for Japanese, but they are basically the same.

If you would like a copy of the one that I made, PM me with your email address and I will send it to you.

Another thing (just thought of it) we were going to hire a company to do a Dragon Dance.

I'm confused...Are you doing a Japanese theme, a Chinese theme, or just pan-asian themes?

There are alot of things you can do to keep with your Theme and Colors - You can buy or make chair covers perhaps in a Japanese print fabric instead of a solid color. www.orientaltrading.com is a huge inexpensive resource for wedding stuff of all themes.
Are you both Japanese? Will you be wearing traditional american wedding attire or a Komono?
