Hello everyone my name is Carmen I will be getting married Dec 15th of 2007. I have slowly statred planning our wedding. My colors are Black and White and all Red Roses. So any ideas or comments you might have are welcomed.

Welcome to the boards and congrats...wow your wedding is barely a year away. ^_^ Pretty colors....so is there anything specific that you need help with? Whatever it is the ladies on this board are very nice and we all love to help each other out so if you have any questions feel free to ask. ^_^ Congrats again...and if I come across anything I'll let you know. I like your colors though it seems to romantic and elegant...I know that this sounds so weird (and please don't take this the wrong way) but your colors reminds me of rose petals on a piano. That's the first thing that comes to my mind....^_^. See you on the boards. ^_^

I was thinking of roses and a piano too! My wedding is next week and I chose red as my color too. It is so perfect for December! My bouquet is a mix of balck magic and charlotte roses and my centerpieces are roses, poinsettias, lilies and magnolia. Good luck! It flies by!

Huh!! I have never thought of that how funny. Well Right now Everything is going pretty good I Guess. I have Picked out my dress it is a Alfred Angelo white with blk dress. Thats if I can get in better shape by May when it is being ordered. Its hard finding real nice dresses with sleaves. Anywho My Briadsmaids are wearing blk dresses with a little white. The tables will be white tabel cloths with a blk thin table cloth down the middle there will be vases of red roses with our names stamped on a pettle and some tea lite candles as well. The table were we will be sitting will have the same as the others except there will be white tulle with lights hanging from the table. The cake table will also have the tulle and lights but right now I am not sure of what else. there is so much that I think I should have started when we got engaged 7 months ago

When you mentioned your colors I thought of the wedding of my future brother and sister in law that was this past September. They did black, white and pink but you could just have red roses instead of pink ones. The one thing there that I really liked was their cake ....I'm going to try and post a picture...if I get any others from the wedding I will post them...It was very elegant.

That is a very nice cake. I have my cake topper picked out but not the cake it self. I have a few I like just not 100% sure what to get. If any of you run into anything that might help pls feel free to post it I will be glad to accept any ideas. Thanks everyone

Heres a pretty one, you could use black ribbon aound the bottom instead, and just have the roses on the side since you have the topper you want.

I am doing a white and black theme as well, it is fun to get those colors to come together. I want to see a picture of your dress, it sounds gorgeous. Minei s black and white as well..
