I have been thinking alot on this subject. I don't think that I want to walk down the aisle to the "traditional" song that you are supposed to walk down too. Has anyone else walked to something different? Anyways, I was thinking of "ColorBlind" by the Counting Crows. I just want the piano part to play as I walk down the aisle.

I dont blame you. I have thought a lot about this also as I will be getting married in 2 weeks. I will be walking down to "Canon in D' played by a violin instead of the traditional "Here COmes the Bride". I wanted something different also but not too crazy. I cant think of what the song you are thinking about sounds like but go for it - personalize your march and make it your own....:)
Why not have something specially written for you? A friend of mine recently had Sonata Works do the music for her wedding, and they do reception dances too. It was soo beautiful! Everyone was teary. They're at www.sonataworks.com.

yeah i think more and more brides are deciding NOT to use Here Comes The Bride. me personally, i hate that song with a passion. its not personal at all, way overused and i dont think its very pretty at all. im trying to decide on a song as well. im getting married on the beach in florida next may and need a unique song that will go with the atmosphere and casualty of the wedding. any ideas? thanks
