Ok I have kinda narrowed down my colors well sorta... But i would like to kinda pick them so that i can start planning for the wedding.
Here are some of my issues i am stuck with the Apple color no getting around that seeing how i feel in love with a dress and bought it on the spot now the wedding date has been changed and changed again but I still have the dress which has the Apple color in in the link below is for my dress so that everyone can see what i am talking about.
WEDDING DRESS (http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=1325&prodgroup=10)

Now here are the two thoughts that I am having...

1 I am thinking about doing Red (Apple) and Yellow (Banana) but I really have no idea how to do it but I love yellow and have seen lots of yellow and red flowers and love the way they look but thats basically where it stops. When i was shoping for a little dress for my small wedding i saw two dresses a red and yellow one next to each other and they looked great together not like they were clashing.

2 The other thought is to do a black and white themed wedding doing most of the decorations and the bridal party in black and white and then having me and DH be the only ones wearing the apple color kinda to stick out from the group. To give us a pop in pics and everything. I have found many different stuff to do in black and white.

So what I think i am askings I for some opions on what you girls think seeing how so many of you have some great ideas. And anything will help thanks. Sorry so long just wanted to make sure i got my thoughts across as good as possible.

I may be biased because I'm using apple and banana, but I think they look really nice together. I'm having my bridesmaids wear red and carry yellow flowers, same for groomsmen. My FH will be wearing a black suit with yellow shirt and red tie. I will be carrying a mix of red and yellow flowers. I'm having an outdoor wedding, so I'm not doing much with decorations. The centerpieces for the tables will have both red and yellow flowers included in them. There's a lot you can do with red and yellow since they compliment each other so well.

That's a great dress btw. I wanted the same one but couldn't afford it. :(

I like the idea of having a black and white and apple wedding! If you want a more traditional/romantic theme, I'd so go with that. If you want a more modern/fun theme, go with the apple/banana! Either way, it will be beautiful!

Go to your local paint store and get paint samples (cards) in those colors. Take them home and lay them out. Once you do that, don't look at them for a couple of days. Go back and look at them and the one that you look at first are the colors that you are the most attracted to and those are the ones you should go with.

I got the dress when they were having one of there big sales and i think that is one of the reasons that i got it right away. My maid of Honor actually had to loan me some money to get it (thats why she's my maid of Honor). I was woundering if you have picked what flowers you are using and if so if you could let me know cause i have no idea what flowers to use if i do, do the apple and banana. Thanks

thanks sandi i might try that suggestion i have a lowes and home depot right down the street so it wouldn't be that hard or time consumming to go get them. I'm going today and that might also help DH decide what he likes better too cause i want him to like it as well.

I'm using tulips. I'll have solid red ones and solid yellow ones, but for my bouquet I'm using the hybrid ones that are mostly red with yellow edges. This is the site I'm ordering from; they have great pictures. http://www.growingtulips.com/cat-Fresh-Tulips-48.htm
Tulips are my favorite flowers, but you could do the same thing with roses or lillies or pretty much anything I think.

Since you love yellow, I would definitely incorporate it. Your dress is gorgeous and will tie in nicely with a red, yellow, and white theme. I would however pick the red or white (since these are your dress colors) as the main color and than add yellow as an accent. I think red bridesmaid dresses would be gorgeous and accent your dress. Good luck!
