Hi all. I have been lurking for a day or two just reading the boards and have decided to post. My FH and I are getting married on July 14, 2007, this after him swearing he would never get married again. I have been married before also but this will be my first wedding and I plan on breaking all the rules...lol. We decided tonight that we wanted a Western/Fairy Tale themed wedding. So, here's the question.... how in the world do I mix the two themes???

Hi Stepanie,

Welcome and Congrats. Hope your plans go smoothly.

You could do a buggy ride or ride in on a horse. Find a park or a beautiful orchard or farm to hold the wedding/reception. Decorate the tables with wild flowers, you could use horseshoes, rope or cowboy hats to accentate the flowers.

I'll see if I can find pictures to help you. Have you picked out your color scheme yet?

Welcome and congrats!!

Ohhh, I really like the white hat with the silver and blue. You could use that or things like that for the western part and it would go really well with the fairytale cinderella stuff....assuming you are wanting to use that for the fairytale part......good luck with your planning.

I know I have seen white cowboy boot bubbles somewhere....
