I am having a bit of hard time thinking of color combinations for my wedding. We are getting married Spring 2007 in Florida (outside). I am curious what colors you all have chosen for your special day and any unique ties you have with the colors in the decor.

I am using dusty rose (which is kinda mauve pink) with wine and cream...using all roses. Girls will wear the pink, guys in the wine. And cream just to tie it all in with my dress. It took me a few days to realize these were kind of valentines colors...but then Michael said that it would just remind us of our first really romantic evening together last valentines day....so then I was ok with it.

We are using my favorite color (apple red) and his favorite color (banana yellow). They look pretty nice together, and it is a way for us to use the colors that we each like best.

Oh I love that combo of yellow and red.. Very nice,

I am using black and yellow. Mainly because I knew I wanted black bridesmaids dresses so they are flattering and they could be worn again. I also liked yellow because daisies are my FAVORITE flowers and that is our theme for the wedding. So I wanted the yellow in the middle to be our other color. SO really we are doing black, yellow and white... :)

I too am getting married in the Spring of 07, but it will be inside. Spring in the midwest is way too unpredictable. Our colors are going to be a latte/chocolate brown, white, and a pale pink. I didn't want the normal pastel colors for spring because 1) I don't like them and 2) my bridesmaids are not pastel people either. So, I chose the latte/chocolate because I think it will look fantastic on all of them and have a slimming effect as compared to other spring colors. Since my colors are pretty neutral all around, I will have a lot of leeway with flowers and decor.

I am getting married in July 07. i love earthtones but they are more fall colors and I wanted to add something in to give it a bit of summer colour so I decided on a cafe colour with a deep blue (not royal cause thats too bright, it almost has a bit of grey in it).

Thanks girls! I also do not like the typical pastel colors. I've thought a little more and am leaning towards apricot (a little darker than a peach color) and kiwi (light green). However, I went to look at a location this weekend and someone was getting married and they decorated with peach and champange with touches of brown and it was gorgeous.

We are having a beach theme wedding just because both of us like the beach. Colors are light blue and white.

My colours are seafoam green, various blues, white, with deep red and silver accents.

The white, is for obvious reasons.
The silver is to give that elegant metallic touch. Most people use gold, but my fiance and I hate gold.
Deep red, mostly because I adore red roses and absolutely HAVE to have them.
And the seafoam and blues becuase its going to be an ocean theme and also I adore seafoam green.

My colors are Dark Teal (peacock blue)....and my sub colors are light orange, yellow, & light hot pink. BRIGHT colors ;) Just like my personality. BM's are wearing the teal, and GM are wearing black w/ silver. I am using dark teal gerbers w/ orange/yellow/paink gerbers as well.

Well, I got married this past May in Florida. My Husband threw a fit and said he wanted Navy Blue and Silver. All my life I wanted a rich red w/ ivory. This was the only thing he really wanted so I gave in! After was all said and done...the girls wore a silver dress, the guys wore navy blue suits with silver ties. He wore navy blue suit with a white tie. My florist threw some red in just to tie it all together! I was affraid it would be way to patriotic, but it was not! I do not care for typical spring colors, and even though our wedding was in May it was still beautiful with the darker colors! Hope this helps!
Here is a pic of the flowers!

my party is in jan of 07 the colors are Silver, white (or cream) and cranberry (or dark red rose). I'm military so i got married in a justice of the peace last new years eve... so thats why we pick silver becuz it reminds us of new years eve, the cranberry we thought would add a little more color to the white and silver

Oooh lovely colors ladies.....well mine are either going to be: gold, electric blue and white or gold, electric blue, and black....probably the first one though....^_^. I love gold and it looks great on me...my FH agrees with that one...and he also loves to see me in white (I also love white flowers so that will help out) and blue is our favorite color (although he likes different shades of blue than I do...electric blue is something that we can compromise on since it's not too light or "girly" I guess). ^_^. My wedding is probably going to be in August of either 2008 or 2009 by the way. ^_^

My colors are hot pink (my fav), dark purple (FH fav), and very pale pink to soften it all up. Our wedding is in Florida but not outside since it is in June.

My main color is dark purple (plum, grape, aubergine--depends on which catalog you look at), which reminds me of my late grandmother. Our flowers will be plum, deep red, and deep orange since we're getting married in the fall. We didn't want to do the "fall theme" like most couples do (4 of our friends got married the last 2 falls and had this theme, so we wanted to be different), so we're having a butterfly theme, which is also a tribute to my late grandmother. We're only having a butterfly here and there, though, so we don't overwhelm our guests with the theme--if they notice, cool. If not, that's okay too. It's more for me and Grandma. (Sorry for the novel :) )
