Can anyone recommend a make-up artist (Houston, Texas) that does good, natural looking make-up? I have gone to a couple of department stores and have gotten my make-up done, but have not liked the results. Someone recommended me to go to the Perfect face, but they are out of my budget. I am debating whether to do my own make-up or what. I just don't want to look like I would any other day. My wedding is around the corner. Help! :(

I am not from your area, but I would suggest checking out where you are getting your hair done. Alot of Salons have make-up personel too. That way when you have your hair trial you can try out the make-up too! Or if your Salon doesn't have any make-up artists, but you go to them regularly you could ask them if they have any reccomendations.
My friend just got married, and she used the salon she got her hair done at. (Not her regular Salon). She also bought make-up in the colors she wanted, when we got home we just touched up some of the areas. Like they did her eyes a little darker then she wanted so we just added a little lighter colored powder eye shadow.
I would suggest, that if you get your make-up done by someone to buy the lipcolor that they use on you, so that you can touch it up for pictures, and after eating the meal! Hope this helps in your hunt.

one of the things my roommate did when she had her wedding was to inquire with mary kay.. they did all of our make-up for free ( my roomie had a dozen bridesmaids and 3 jr bridesmaids and of course the moms were free too). the only thing she did was host a party at her house. it was great... i hope this helps..

My Mary Kay lady is doing my makeup! She's GREAT! These ladies really depend on situations like this to get their names out! You could even do a little gift purchase from her for your bridesmaids to make it a little more fun - be it nail polishes, lipsticks/glosses or even the facial care products. :)
