I have 6 nieces and nephews, 5 of which aren't little kids, but aren't quite drinking age either. I'm having a special martini (purple) so i was thinking I should have something for them also.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Grape Soda could work. I would look for halloween things possibly, you could probably find some drink recipe for kids that is purple.

The kids are not really kids, they are between 16 and 19, so I was looking for something they would like.

I read one thing that suggested Cranberry juice and ginger ale...I was wondering how it would taste with orange and lime juice to make it more like a cosmo.

It stinks when you're underage and can't have any of the good stuff, ya know?

That might work, if they like Cranberry Juice. You might want to talk to their parents regarding what kind of juices they like.

Shirley temples or a virgin martini, daquiri (sp) or pina coladas are all good choices.

Use lemon juice instead of organge or lime juice. It's great. I drink them all the time. I am not much of a drinker and this is one of my favorite drinks - next to a chocolate monkey.

If it's just the five or six of them, I would ask them directly what they would like and come up with one or two virgin drinks you can have for them. Or if your budget allows, just keep juices at the bar so they can mix virgin pina coladas, or bloody marys, or whatever else they would want. I understsand what it's like for them becuase I'm only 19 at the moment, and I personally would prefer to be asked what I liked.
