I am looking for some suggestions for songs that could be used for the Father-Daughter Dance. At first I had chosen "Wind Beneath My Wings". I love it, have always associated it with my Dad, and even got to sing it to him on video ***era when he was on deployment. But, I am afraid it will be too much of a tear-jerker. So, I was thinking of using a Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra song. We both adore them and I remember growing up listening to them and watching Dean Martin movies. My Dad is a terrific dancer and I know we would have a good time doing something more upbeat. Any suggestions?

Well either one would be great, I don't think you should discount the song because of it being a tear jerker, it obviously is a very important song to the both of you and while it may be sad, it is somethign you will always remember. However, if you do decide to do something more upbeat then that is perfectly fine as well and may be a fun way to dance with your fatehr. Its all up to you. Pick a song that means something to the both of you and just go with that!! :)
