Winter Wedding Theme??? Help!!!

Does anyone have any ides for a Winter wedding? My dress is kind of a light gold color and I'm not sure what colors to go with? I was thinking wine/gold or something like that, but I'm not sure. I don't really know what theme to go with either. Please help!!!!

Well many go with just that, a winter wonderland theme. THe colors you are thinking sound great. Or perhaps a light blue color, champange, Rose, burgundy.. many rich colors will go with gold and a winter wedding. :)

our theme is "Our love is Anchor forever" Maybe with the bubbles and a few anchors on it would be nice. I've designed our invites with anchors and hearts on them.

I'm new to this forum, so I'm not sure how all to do everything neat-o like everyone else, but I just wanted to say that I'm having a winter wedding too. I decided that I wanted to not spend very much money, but I do want it to be a little winter wonderland idea. At first my colors were just going to be ice blue, rose pink and white, silver and glittery colors, but then my mom bought me victorian boots that had gold embroidery, so I looked around and realized that having gold in your winter wedding is not that uncommon. I went to the Hobby Lobby in Amarillo and found beautiful gold poinsettias to add to my bouquet, I made my bridesmaids get gold flats and just added little gold accents to everything else. It looks great with my other colors in moderation. A great website that I've used over and over for my upcomming wedding is Invitations by Dawn. They have wonderful winter wedding invitations and accessories and you can have napkins or all kinds of other other favors and things in your colors with snowflakes or other designs on them.
