so far the one bridesmaid is not employed and i found a beautiful black gown similar to the one i want for 10.00 at the local flea market and it was brand new so i bought it for her and my maid of honor is going to wear silver i think if i go with silver

that would be pretty. your party does not have to match in color. you can allow them to wear what they feel comfortable in. as long as they are close and coordinate well with each other

Hey,

Gangster themed? That's different. Never heard that one! You know, if you're date isn't until after Halloween most Halloween stores have lots of gangster related items you could pick up. Maybe check it out and see at least.

I heard of it before, when we were considering vegas, we were going to do a gangster theme.

Oriental Trading has some good gangster stuff. With Halloween coming that would be a good place to check.

Maybe your bridesmaids could wear the flapper dresses, with either the headband and large feather or the flapper hats. The guys could carry the machine guns and the ladies the large ostrich feather fans. Maybe the wear the long pearl necklace.

Orchids were big doing that time. I'll look and see if I can find some centerpieces with them. They are very expensive, put you could use the silks instead.

Shop for some of your supplies after halloween. You can get them on sale than.

Ukuleles were big doing this time as well. Maybe have some toy ones as decorations or someone playing one for entertainment. Maybe your bridesmaids could carry them instead of flowers.

If you have a vintage car club in your area, see if they will be willing to rent out their services for a 1920's car, i.e. town car or a roadster.

Here are a couple of pictures. Maybe you could have pictures taken like those that Bonnie and Clyde took.

For your reception entrance, maybe you could have some friends dress up like "bobby cops" (?? on name). Have a few of them run in before you. You get announced and the remaining run in after you, like the were chasing out laws.
