Hi. My wedding is very autumn. I chose sunflowers. I'd love to see what's out there. If you find anything, please post. Thanks.

kinda long
A symbol of peace, happiness, and the prosperity of the harvest, the sunflower is a warm and friendly flower to include in your wedding. Sunflowers come in several color combinations and are especially appropriate for late summer and fall weddings, when the color palate may call for golds and reds.
When we think of a sunflower, we generally envision yellow petals encircling a dark brown center. While this is the most popular color combination, it is not the only one. Sunflowers with red or white petals are also available, as well as a yellow sunflower with red streaks that seem to burst forth from the center of the flower. While most of the clipart images, decorator items, and favors that you will find will feature the yellow sunflower, you can always add these other sunflowers in floral arrangements or centerpieces.
Sunflowers are in season between July and September. If you are expecting to use fresh flowers for your wedding, plan your nuptials for this time of year. However, if you do not mind silk or dried arrangements, you can easily plan a sunflower themed wedding for any time of the year.
To announce your wedding, you will find many sunflower themed wedding invitations both online and in local stores. For a fun do-it-yourself project, consider downloading sunflower images and wedding invitation templates from WeddingClipart.com and making your own. With the use of your home computer and printer, you will be well on your way to making professional looking wedding invitations for a fraction of the cost of having them professionally printed.
Creative ideas for this project can be found at your local craft store including specialty papers, rubber stamps, inks, and embellishments that will give your invitations a unique and polished look. You may also want to consider making your own Thank You notes, wedding programs, place cards, reception menus and stationery with the downloaded clipart. Sunflower images can also be printed on iron-on transfers in various sizes for use on banners, table cloths, or chair covers.
Wedding gowns are as varied as the individuals who wear them. For a sunflower themed addition to your gown, consider a sunflower shaped embellishment or two around the hem or on the train of your dress. Or add fresh or silk sunflowers to your hair or the back of your dress for a Maid Marion look.
For the groom, consider a sunflower adorned necktie, tie tack or cufflinks. The print on the tie may be bold or subtle; a black or monotone emblem is classy and may feel more masculine and appropriate to him.
When decorating for your ceremony and reception, there are many sunflower inspired items for you to use. If you are seeking a classic wedding with subtle sunflower touches, choose one of the following to add to your event. If you want there to be no doubt as to your love for the sunflower, include them all!
Sunflower shaped candles.
Fresh or silk sunflower arrangements.
Dried sunflower wreathes.
Sunflower inspired tablecloths and napkins.
Decorative sunflower flags.
Miniature sunflower shaped lights.
Galvanized buckets with sunflower cutouts.
For your sunflower themed wedding favors, consider the following.
Chocolate sunflowers.
A pack of sunflower seeds packaged with a sunflower inspired Thank You note to your guests.
Sunflower kitchen towels.
Sunflower nightlights.
Sunflower magnets.
Miniature sunflower picture frames.
Small canvas bags filled with candy, adorned with a sunflower iron-on, your names and your wedding date.
Sunflowers are a sunny addition to any summer or fall wedding. By incorporating the ideas mentioned here, you can ensure an event where the bright, cheerful face of the sunflower creates a lasting impression.

Yay!!! Another sunflower girl! I LOVED having my sunflower themed wedding. My colors were white and navy with sunflowers and I just loved them! My husband did too, he said they didn’t feel as “girlie” as other flowers he’s seen at weddings. Here's a bunch of pictures from my wedding:

I just knew more people were out there doing the sunflower theme! I love the cabin like church. Are you flowers silk? I am doing silk flowers. I have seen so many pics of wedding with a ton of flowers and some with less flowers. To me, all those flowers are dying for how many hours. Maybe a bridal bouquet to hold for 20 minutes! I find it sad and I do not consider myself an envionmentalist. I think silks are great. I had them for my wedding and for now with my 15 wedding anniversary. My parents wanted fresh flowers. Since I did not look at fresh flowers I cannot say much about cost, but I have heard silk are cheaper.

Yes, mine are silk. When we started getting quotes for sunflowers in the month of May, it was completely out of the question. It turned out really well, though, because I had my flowers done over a month before the wedding, so I had nothing to worry about there. People also loved it because they could keep their flowers. It was sooooo much cheaper, too, I only spent about $150 on flowers!!
I got my bouquet and my MOH's bouquet flowers from AC Moore and all the rest ***e from Hobby Lobby, if that gives you a start.
