Help with Budgeting-PLEASE

Ok, so we set a budget but by what date do you have to have all of that money? With all the deposits and everything obviously you can't decide your budget on how much you can have saved by your wedding date...How much do you need a year ahead of time, 6 months ahead of time, and that day? We are saving monthly and if we need most of the money when we book everything we may need to move the wedding back a year :(
Please help me with planning...do we need to have the money now?

You're going to want half your budget saved by the time you start booking vendors. They generally ask for 50% non-refundable to hold your reservation.

Depending on how fast and how much you can save determines when you're going to start planning, but decide on what your total is you can spend (figure that you'll probably exceed it by 25% anyway) and have at least half that much ready when you're prepared to make reservations.
