Hi,

Myself and my partner are planning to marry in Malaysia or Thailand in either Decembr 2006 or July 2007. My partner is from Malaysia and we holiday there almost every eyar at Xmas time.

We are just basically looking for some advice for good places to get married - but not overly expensive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Whats so great about Malaysia ? You've made me curious

I know this is off topic but i seen you were having a beach wedding then i ran across some vows that seemed to fit , hope you dont mind.
As we stand beside the ocean tide, may our love always be as
constant and unchanging as these never-ending waves that pour
beneath our feet, flowing endlessly from the depths of the sea; your love
***e softly upon my heart, just as the foam comes softly upon the
sand, and just as there will never be a morning without the ocean's flow,
so there will never be a day without my love for you. I pledge myself to
you this day Our love will be as unchanging and dependable as the tide;
as these waters nourish the earth and sustain life, may my constant devotion
nourish and sustain you until the end of time.

For newly-weds looking for a romantic wedding in Malaysia, may I suggest Penang. You may want to get in touch with Penang Mutiara Beach Resort or Penang Grand Plaza Parkroyal Resort at the famous Batu Ferringhi Beach.

And if you are looking for a romantic music accompaniment to your auspicious reception, I would suggest the popular Patrick & the Romantiques. You may check out their bio at http://penangweddingband.tripod.com or email to patrickteh8@gmail.com.

Cheerio!

Not sure where to begin when planning for your honeymoon? When wedding planning, you should start discussing ideas with your spouse-to-be. Will you travel domestically or internationally? What type of honeymoon do you desire? Will it be part of a destination wedding? If you’re thinking along the lines of exotic beaches and ethnic foods, you most likely will want to plan to travel abroad. This is a good Honeymoon Planning Article (http://malaysiaweddings.awardspace.com/content/Planning-Your-Wedding-Honeymoon.htm).

Looking for more wedding planning ideas, steps, guidelines tailored for Malaysians, check out the brand new Malaysia Weddings Forum (http://malaysiaweddings.awardspace.com), your one stop wedding information portal and forum for wedding couples to share experiences, ideas and wonderful memories.

Malaysia is the multi cultural country in Asia., freedom of religion is protected by the constitution., meaning there are many types of cultural wedding available., and fabulous wedding could be organized here. Superstructure would be the Petronas TwinTowers, Biggest caves in the world would be the MULU caves and Tallest mountain in South East Asia would be the Mount Kinabalu. Ample of beautiful beaches and top 10 dive location in the world.. Pulau sipadan.. a must for divers! just some information about Malaysia! FOOD? So much variety it takes you a life time to try it all! :) thanks.

Hi, my fiance and I have just returned from a wedding at The Shangri-la Rasa Ria in Kota Kinabalu, which was awesome! We are now planning to get married in Langkawi and I have a place in mind. I am looking for someone to help with planning, music for the ceremony and reception, hair and makeup. We are getting costs at the moment but looking at Oct 2008 or Apr 2009 at this stage. It will be a small and intimate wedding. If anyone can offer advice or ideas, that would be great! Thanks, Katrina
