I think it's lovely, but if you think something is missing, look around. Try Dessy destination gowns, I was looking at #1005 or 1004 for my beach wedding, if cancel the David's Bridal gown I already got.

Hey,

You wanted an honest opinion and here it is. I do not care for that gown. I mean it's pretty, looks very lightweight and comfortable and that's great for a cruiseship, but I personally think it is missing a special touch. The overall feeling I get about it is "too simple and clean." Kind of lets you blend in and I personally think a bride should stand out. I'm sorry if I offended anyone in anyway, just my opinion though. Hope you get some pics to show and relate back your feelings trying on the dress.

Thank you for your opinion. You haven't offenede me. I feel the same way too. I like the gown, it has what I am looking for in a gown, but there is something that is missing. I can't put my finger on it. This has been the only gown that I have found so far that fits what I am looking for.

I really like the train on the dress and the overall style, but personally I'm not a big fan of the top front. But that's my own opinion. It may look beautiful on you! :)

I agree with the last post. Have you found anything else yet? Good luck and don't give up :) Maybe after you try it on you can post pics of the dress on you and we may change our minds. :)

Although that dress may be flattering on you when you try it on, to me the top looks like toilet paper. There's also a lot of texture on the top but none on the bottom. That's probably what's bothering you. Sorry, but that's my honest opinion.

This website has a good "informal" dress section:

You may like the style "Haylee" or "Anne."

I really actually like this dress,I think it is very pretty. However I do agree with others, perhaps adding a colorful sash or some beading to it? Keep looking, I do think though for a ship it is quite appropriate!!! :)

I agree with the others, it's very pretty but maybe just alittle to simple. Maybe you could add some beading to it, my sister and I did that on her wedding dress, it's actually pretty easy to do.

I think a colored ribbon around the middle and then a long tail following the train would be stunning, because after looking at it again, it really is gorgeous. Do you have a picture of yourself in the dress? It may look differnet on and not fit in the right places.... or fit just right in the other places.
