Im having dress issues

I need help?!?! I have found a cute dress in every type of dress shape. But I need some opinions or input on which type of dress or material would go with the romance theme. Right now I am looking at trying on lace dresses. Thrusday I tried on a semi poufy gown and took a pic. I felt cute when I was looking in the mirror but when I looked at the picture I was horrified. I want something that is sexy but I don't want anything too sexy. I want it to still look like a wedding dress. The other catch to it is I am somewhat on the flamboyant diva side and my FH is very traditional. I want something that will wow him but not make me feel self concious. Im lost I have not a clue. I find the perfect dress once a month and then when I get over its almost like what was I thinking.

Well dresses are very much personal preference. But trying on differnet kinds always helped. Have you tried dresses that are different colors? beading? Halter? Just try something somewhat different on the bottom tier. Just keep looking you will find something. Halters and strapless are what I always think of when I think of elegant.

Maybe try something with chiffon..it falls really nicely and looks "soft".
