Hey, just looking to find out how much everyone spent on their DJ or band or whatever you may have for entertainment.
The quote I got was $599.99 and the DJ company was highly recommended! Thanks ~Donna~

We are having a DJ but luckily it's a long time family friend of my FH's that is doing it so their service is our gift, but I do know their normal rate for doing a wedding reception is $450. I think that's about average for our area.

I budgeted 500 but all the other parties that I did I found dj's that were trying to get their name out there so they charged crack head prices 200

I am paying $825. I know this is way expensive, but I really like the company and they have a website where I can play what I want, and not play songs that I don't want played.

I think that is a great deal, if I could find one for $825 I would gladly pay that!!

We aren't paying anything. We are going to make cds with music to last the evening and a cd that has all the important stuff on it and use Robert's stepdad's equipment.

That is prtty much what we are doing. Cheaper! We are getting a CRAZY friend to introduce us and do the garter and boquet toss... But other then that we just have someone manning the player when we want our first dance and stuff.. Which will be all labeled because I am obsessed with labeling

For the party portion of the wedding are you going to be playing fast love songs the whole time or just fast songs? I can't find many fast wedding/love songs. If anybody knows any please pass them on.

I met with several DJs and the one I decided on was a husband/wife team. They are also going to help with ceremony music. Their price is $400 for an unlimited time and this Saturday I will get an extra $50 off for going to the wedding show they will be at, so I think $350 is pretty darn good for what I'm getting. Most of the other DJs had time limits and ran around $500 in my area.
