I asked my best friend, also my fiance's adopted sister to be my matron of honor.
Because of family problems I feel are childish, and over stupid things, we had a discussion which led to an argument where she said nothing and I spoke openly and honestly. She has not spoken to me in three months, I bumped into her about a month ago and we were civil to each other, and she said she was going to get with me so we could work things out, she just 'hasn't had the time'.
Now that it is time to actually start planning the wedding, and with all of the decisions I have to make, I have asked someone else that I know is dependable and is just as important to me to step up as the Matron of honor.
Am I doing right by replacing her since we have had no real communication in three months? What happens when she finds 'time' to work out our problems and wants to play nice? Does she still get to be the matron of honor, does she get demoted to bridesmaid or is she just invited to be a guest?
