I don't know about any of you ladies, but dealing with Macy's was absolutely horrific!!! I have never been treated that horribly.

The ordered the wrong size on my gown and had the nerve to tell me I put on too much weight. When I showed the manager the form with my original measurements, (that she took), I actually went down in size from the measurements she took again. She had the nerve to charge me for $500.00 in alterations that were her fault. They gave me a discount when I first bought the dress to charge me for alterations......what a s***!!

Then to top it all off they lost my girls paperwork for their bridesmaid dresses. So they had no idea what to tell the seamstress their alterations were!!!! So needless to say we pulled all of our dresses out of Macy's. They were charging my girls $80.00 for alterations on a $110.00 dress. We found a local seamstress who is wonderful and charges $30.00 per dress!!!!

I just wanted to put it out there the horrible experience I had and warn all about Macy's Bridal Salon. They treated me and my girls horribly. I am in New Jersey getting married in September. Tell me how freaked out I was when I thought I wouldn't have a dress!!!

Aww, I am sorry that was such a terrible experince. It seems as though those stores never really care about customer service. Look at Davids Bridal posts. All the smaller local places aim to please, these large box stores or whatever you want to call them could care less. I hope that it all works out for you!

I went through a very similar situation at David's Bridal. I'm so sorry. Have you thought about calling the corporate office? I'd be looking for some sort of refund for the alterations if they are the ones that messed up the size of the dress. And it is very unprofessional for them to tell you that you put on weight. I hope it all works out for you.

I had the same experience with Dillards dept store. Customer service just doesnt exist. I too ordered a dress and when it ***e it was a size too small and not what I obviously ordered. It was a waste of time waiting for the dress when I could have been shopping that whole week! The lady Chang who works at Arrowhead Towne Center in Peoria, AZ is completely horrible. Oh and my wedding is next week aug 26!! Anyway it ***e down to getting a discount on the dress (that was of course after practically fighting with her manager on two seperate occasions). Guess the customer isnt right anymore these days!! What a shame.
