Hi,

I'm looking for an Eve of Milady gown, preferably NOT satin.... they have beaded organza, tulle, etc that I like more... I'm thinking of going back to the store to buy the sample, but if anyone knows of a place I can get it for less, or if anyone is selling one in a size 10, let me know. I fell in love with it and I think I might just get it.

Also, they're having a trunk show in August... has anyone gotten their dress at a trunk show? Does this mean that there's a heavy discount, or just a little one? How much should I expect to get off retail?

Also, if anyone has been an Eve of Milady bride, do you mind if I ask how much I should expect to pay for her dresses? I want to be sure that I'm getting a fair price. Let me know what they should retail for and if you got a discount.

You guys are the experts! I'm new to these forums and excited to get advice.

I have two gowns by Amalia Carrara, and three gowns by Eve of Milady. I have one beaded lace gown, one ivory organza, and another in organza. Two are satin. I may also be getting a sixth soon in organza. Feel free to contact me for information or pictures. Most were salon samples and one is new. All are in very good to excellent condition. You can save thousands off retail.

I too fell in love with an Eve of Milady gown upon seeing it in a magazine, (#E2 on the website) So I went to a local boutique to take a look at it in person.........It was even more gorgeous! However, the price was out of my budget, it was about $6000. I didn't even bother to try it on as I didn't want to fall more in love.
I would love to know if anyone knows how to get this dress at a significant discount!!!!!!

I heard about this site from someone on here but if you send them a pick they will do it for you its an ebay store. I fell in love with the capri dress from maggie sottero but I like eve of milady designs. So I picked a mix between the two and they quoted me 120. I will let you know it goes when I get it. Freeweddingslassified.com has dresses also.

Do not buy any dress from julius bridal that is listed above, this is where I bought my dress and it is a fake, smelly and used with missing bead work and stains. She lied and said it was brand new and authentic. Please beware of her!!

i have bought several dresses from julius bridal during the last 3-4 years, and its the best sewn and best fitting dresses I have ever seen. I am a retailer, and theses dresses ar far better than MS for example. They will do ANYTHING to please their customers. I highly recomend Mimi and Julius. / Greatings from Tina in Sweden

Hi,

I recently got married (August 26, 2006) and wore the Eve of Milady E2. You can see the pic at eveofmiladybridals.com. I'm looking to sell it and am willing to throw in the hoop, veil, tiara and jewellery...they all match perfectly...if you are interested in buying it, let me know...i'll be happy to show you pics of my wedding. By the way...it is the dream dress!

I live in Toronto and paid well over 6K for the dress but am very reasonable. I have original sales receipts to substantiate it. E-mail me at stacygowan@hotmail.com if you are interested.

I loved Eve of Milady dresses. The one I tried on fit like a glove and was perfect...until I saw the $6000 price tag! Her dresses start at $2500 min. because all beading work and stitching is done by hand, not machine. Lot of time spent making those dresses. If you can afford it, I say go for it!

Try Ebay, www.freeweddingclassifieds.com, and see if you can purchase a sample from somewhere.

Good luck!
