I did happen to check out their site a few days ago and see all the new dresses-as I was going through them I started second guessing my choice that I already ordered which is a Maggie, but then I realized I picked that dress for a reason and once I looked at it again I knew I made the right choice. I think in the future when I look at my gown I will think it was beautiful and classic and not to trendy. It's going to be in diamond white over light gold. http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?keywordText=grace+kelly&searchId=466491096&keywordType=any&page=0&pageSize=8&style=J135
How do you actually post pics by the way?

The one you picked is fairly new. I like it... I was actually looking at one kind of like it way back when. My dress was the Capri Marie:
http://www.maggiesottero.com/images/dresses/large/front/J889.jpg
It was pretty and everyone liked it so much. They said it was the perfect dress. I just happened to be snooping on the Maggie website and saw the new dresses. They are pretty much the same concept as my dress... just prettier. LOL! Can I get married again? I know its only been 3 weeks... but I love those new dresses! LOL!

Um... to post pictures, just find a picture you want on a website. Right click on it and select "copy image location". Then when you're posting a message in here, click on the image button about the text box (its yellow and looks like mountains with the sun over them). A window appears and you simply paste the copied location in there. Then select okay. Did I explain that alright?

it sound slike it would work but when I right click I don't get the option to copy image location-what kind of software should I have for this?

Any web browser should have that option. Hmm... are you using a mac or a pc?

Hmm... I'm not sure why its not working for you then. "Copy image location" is located in the middle of the little menu that pops up when you right click on an image. Hmm... I guess you could always save the image to your computer (that's in the menu when you right click as well). Then you would have to get an account at one of those free picture storing websites. Like www.photobucket.com. You can upload pictures from your hard drive. Then they give you the url that needs to be copied and pasted into the text box on this site.

I like very simple dresses and I don't care for all the puffiness in most dresses. I really like these two:

http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?pageSize=8&page=2&style=A538
http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?pageSize=8&page=12&style=A546 (minus the straps- I want strapless)

sorry I can't copy a picture in here either and don't feel like saving them and retreiving- too much work lol

How does one go to the bathroom with all that material? they are all beautiful dresses, but, it just makes me wonder. :p I don't know how I managed to not need the restroom when I got married, but, thank God I didn't need to, nor did I think of what the "procedure" would of been like!

Ah! That's the same one I've been drooling over! Except I just want mine white (not over gold). I just don't think there's anyway that I can afford it. Sorry if this is rude, but how much (roughly) did it cost you? If you don't want to post it, you can pm me if you don't mind. I'm so jealous of you! I'm sure you'll look gorgeous!

OK, so sorry if this offends you.

The 2nd dress is called Destin. I love Maggie Sotteros, but every time I see the style name Destin I think of Desitin, the diaper rash ointment...lol...sorry, I don't want to spoil your dress for you! It is a gorgeous dress!

Sooooooo Pretty!I love all your dresses.I think you've seen mine but the new Maggie-3rd one down is sick!I love it.It's like she gives a real romantic southern bell twist to her dresses and they fit like gloves.Only problem some of them are very heavy.
Well I'm bushed-hitting the hay.good night all.

Oh, those Maggie dresses--I love the new ones, but the Grace and Grace Kelly are so gorgeous. I'm not thrilled with the way I look in my dress right now and wish I could start over. Plus, I have the 2nd dress from Emme that Daryl is still threatening to wear if I don't sell it soon!
Even though I'm so excited that my wedding is only a month away, I wish we had given ourselves more time to plan, save money, and for me, to drop a few more pounds to feel better in a dress. I never should've dress shopped while still out of it from surgery!

I LOVE Maggie dresses!!!!!I have worn many of them in bridal shows that I have modeled in and since the first time I had one on, I knew that I would wear one for my own wedding. She has some of the most wonderful designs that are always tasteful. My dress is the Suzanne Vidal in all diamond white.

***i, I bought the Tuscana Royale in White/white and tried it on in diamond white. It's beautiful. I got the white/white because the diamond white has a yellow twinge to the white. They both have light silver thread accents in the lace. It is a flattering dress. It was way more flattering than any other gown I tried, which was A LOT of them. It fits tight across the top and forgives the hips and gut if you know what I mean. All the other ones, Maggie included, seemed to make my gut and hips totally take over. Of course I plan to lose weight, but it's nice to know it can handle 15 pounds extra without making me look foolish. I paid the extra 100 for the gown to come with the matching shawl. I will use it in some photos after I remove my veil. I saw the gown in the color on the pictures on Maggies site and its too not wedding looking, more orangey. I think it would look good on some skin tones, but not mine. I am more light and tan and the white contrast with the tight empire waist deal looks good. I even had a girl working at the store try it on for me to see and it was amazing, and she is like 15 pounds heavier than I am. I am 5'5, 145 pounds, 36 29 37 with small bones and I do great with the size 10, if that helps. It laces up the back so you can get a good fit.

You can email me if you have any questions at riverwalk@clearwire.net

Thanks for everything Laura! ^_^ That's great information and advice - especially for me because I'm close to the same size as you....different measurements and a different weight size....but that's awesome. Thank you so much for the advice about it! Now I know that it will probably be flattering and forgiving which is even better. Thank you so much Laura! ^_^ It gives me hope! ^_^
