My question is about engagment rings. I am planning on proposing to my girl soon :), and I was wondering, do I need to buy just ring for her, or one for my self as well, or does she buy one for me after the proposal, or how does it go ?
Any info is appreciated it. Thank you.

Hey there, when my fiance proposed to me, it was on my brithday day. And what he did was gave me his mom's old engagement ring. I like those sorts of things. He didn't get a ring from me though.. and I'm not quite sure how it works, or if there is a certain rule for rings. I know when you get married you'll get one! Take care.

You can do whatever you want. Traditionally, there is an engagement ring worn by the woman as soon as she accepts, and also wedding bands worn by both of you beginning when you are married. Most couples pick out their wedding bands together, and most match. (Some even pick out the girl's engagement ring together, but personally I think this is terrible!) A guy I used to work with had a girlfriend who proposed to HIM, and she bought an engagement ring for HIM! Then they both got wedding bands. If she wants to get an engagement ring for you after you are engaged, this is unusual and really sweet, but it's up to her. Good luck on your proposal!
