I know this has been a thread before but Can we all post the cakes we like and want? I'm really having a hard time deciding and could use ideas!! Also any good websites with really unique cakes would be great. We're haivng a lady and the tramp theme, so we want to stick with that theme.

I'm looking for more of a unique cake. I've seen the ones shaped like certain things but I want to incorporate the italian lady and the tramp dog theme. maybe some paw prints on the sides or something? The color of the wedding are Red, Fucshia, black, and were not sure on the other color yet.

If you have found a baker, explain to them what you want and they can come up with a design for you.

Hi! ^_^ Well I have an idea but I'm not sure if you'll like it or not. Since I've always associated Lady and the Tramp with Italian food -the romantic/cute pasta scene - ( and I'm just suggesting this if you really want to not do a traditional round cake) then maybe you could have the cake be shapped like a bowl full of "spaghetti and meatballs" and maybe some paw prints on the side of the bowl. It's just an idea, kind of silly....but I dunno, it just popped into my head.
I watch the Food Network quite often and I noticed that there's one cake decorator that I really like and he tends to do really out of the box cake decorations. He also won first place in a recent food network competition, he made a birthday cake for Elvis. His name is Mike McCarey. Here's his website if you want to check it out: http://www.mikesamazingcakes.com/index.html. I know that he's based on the west coast - Washington to be precise. But I've heard that he can travel, although I'm not too sure myself about prices or anything I just thought that his cakes are really nice and my dream cake would honestly be one from him because he can make really great looking cakes, not to mention that he's respected in the cake industry from what I've heard. They are just amazing....you look at them and you're like "that's a cake?? What???" ^_^
But if anything maybe his website might give you a few ideas...I'm sorry if I wasn't that much help...-_-. Hopefully you find a cake that you really like! ^_^
