Ring Question

We are getting our wedding rings custom made. They are going to be done a long time before the wedding and we are both dying to wear them. What's the rule on wearing the rings before the wedding? I assume it's taboo, but just curious. :confused:

No, it is taboo. Wear an enganement ring if you want, but wedding rings are reserved for the big day.

If you want, you could have inexpensivve replicas of your rings made as engagement rings and wear those...trust me, nothing means as much as having that specific wedding ring placed on your finger on your wedding day... :cool:

We felt the same way about ours, but Cornhuskercat is right. Plus, saving them securely away somewhere until the wedding reduces the chances that a disaster will happen and ensures their safety. You don't want to lose your wedding band a week before the ceremony! ;)
