I dont have a father and I am havin my grandfather who is very very close with me (my best friend, and like a dad) walk me down the aisle. Well, I need to have a granddaughter grandfather dance. Any ideas on a song? I am having a hard time with this.

Is there a particular artist that your grandfather likes? I am not going to have the "traditional" father/daughter dance with songs like Butterfly Kisses but I am thinking about You Are the Sunshine of My Life by Stevie Wonder since that is one of my dad's favorite artists. Just a suggestion.

I'm actually in the same situation - I was raised by my grandparents so my grandfather is walking me down the isle and we'll be dancing to "Grandpa" by the Judds.

My stepdad walked me down the aile and for our first dance(did not want things to mushy) We shagged (a type of dance) to Brown Eyed girl . Also my husband and I chachaed to Your Man (Josh Turner) People loved it, that like the fact that it was not all mushy and slow....Just a thought
