Weddings in Lake Tahoe

Hello,
I am planning a December 2004 wedding in Lake Tahoe. We will be married at a catholic church with a reception to follow at one of the casinos. Does anyone have any advice on the area? Also any suggestions on getting deals with hotels for your out of town guests. We are inviting 200 guests. Thanks.

I too got married at Lake Tahoe! I got married at Caesars Outdoor Chapel and I had my reception at a Suite in the Horizon. I had a steady flow of people there. The catering department there were wonderful to work with. Also, I had went to one of the local hotels on down the road and blocked the whole thing for the guests and then I called my out of town guest to call the number to book their rooms. It was easy and less stressful for you. Just remember to relax and have a great day.

Depending on where you are getting married in tahoe, The Tahoe Biltmore has a great reputation, it is one of the places we are looking into.
