Hello There

I recently returned from my beautiful beach wedding in Tulum, Mexico and have the most gorgeous wedding images taken by Peter Van de Maele (www.d-eye-d.com) that I had to write and share with future brides. A few months ago, I was myself fretting about finding a photographer for my destination wedding. I wanted a photographer who could capture mine and my fiance's spirited and fun nature. I ***e across another bride's recommendation for Peter and checked out his website. I immediately fell in love with his style. Fortunately for us, Peter and his associate, Niurka, were able to work with us and created a perfect wedding photo journal for us. We are so pleased with the quality of Peter's work and end result that we had to share with others. I highly recommend Peter for his professionalism, yet warm and friendly nature. Check out his website: www.d-eye-d.com, and if you like his work, do email him about your interest. It really is a pleasure to work with Peter and Niurka. Good luck to you brides. Feel free to tell them that great fans - Mai-Anh & Maher sent you!

I'm sorry, but this sounds as if someone from the company wrote up a story to get people to use their company. This person could be completely telling the truth; but, for me, I would be more likely to trust someone that was on here for a long time going through all the phases of the wedding stuff, getting advice as well as giving, and then following up on who she used for what and where.

Sorry for being so direct, I'm still raving about my photographer....

I am proud of my photos but to be honest I hope that other people here are more welcoming-tolerant than you with the novices. You don't intimidate me neither, and yes of course I am real as much as you are, if I want to share my experiences before or after my wedding (by the way April 2, Mezzanine Tulum rapport is coming the hotel is awesome) I'm the one that should decide, don't you think ? Just in case you have so much time to sniff out who is real and who is not you can find me in The Knot Message Board (emdoilan)!

I wasn't trying to be all *****y, but I will be now. Re-READ my post! All I said was that you sounded more like someone who worked for the company. It's great that you had excellent photos, and whatnot, but in all honesty I would much rather see someone on here for a long time, going through the whole process with all of us, and then saying hey girls I used so an so and they were great. It's more likely that they will be trusted. IT IS NOT A HUGE DEAL. /thread

Mai-Anh,
Can I ask you what resort in Tulum did you get married at. I am looking at a place just south of the Ruins and am looking for advice or recommendations.

Although I admit it did sound kinda like a sales pitch, You can be sure that most here are very friendly and welcomeing. I glad you found such a great photographer. They can be hard to find.

haha - I cannot stop raving about the photographer I found, and they haven't even photographed us yet!!! So i understand your excitement. Photos are the most important thing to us, and it is worth it to fly these people to photograph us - they did a friends destination wedding last year and i have never seen photos this amazing as their website! http://www.whitleygoodman.com
