Which one do you think is the most beautiful? I'm helping a friend plan her wedding:

I like the last cake, but I'm getting married in October -- I'm not sure how easy it is to get hydrangeas at that time of the year?

Any idea Philnphyl?

It's a simple cake, you can use any flower you like, from daisies to tulips.

My personal favorite is the second to the last cake. I had this cake at my wedding in August. I think it is very pretty for any season, because you can put any kind of flowers on and around it. I used the white roses with the pink tips and it turned out beautifully.

If you have a professional florist doing your flowers, then it will be very easy because (as I learned this past year) they can order any kind of flower that you can think of. However, if it is out of season, then you may have to pay a little extra. But, it is possible to have exactly what you want. :)

If the wedding is in Oct, the first cake has beautiful colors to match the season. It looks very unique also.

I really love the last two. If I had to choose between the two I would say the very last one. The flowers are beautiful.

Either the last one (pick any flowers you want), or the fifth to last...I think this one is especially elegant because of its simplicity.

I like the last one. I think it's because the flowers are my colors. The second to last one is nice also.

The second from the top and the last three are beautiful... You can use any flowers to match the wedding of course....

Don't forget to taste a sample also. You don't want a cake that tastes like ash...

I LOVE the 4th cake. It just happens to be in one of my wedding colors and the design on it would match my reception location (the stairs and railings all have that twirls)

I would personally choose the last cake with the purple flowers. I like the simplicity of it and I am also planning on using fresh flowers on my cake.

me too.

for my own reception, though, I am going to use a small cake or cupcakes.
