I need help with music for ceremony. For the BM and GM and flower girl/ring bearer, and of course me walking down the asile. I don't want to stick with the traditional wedding march. Plus since Ive worked so hard on sticking to my theme I want to kind of put the theme out there for them to "get it" before they get upstairs to the reception room where it will be noticable.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

This might be kinda weird but the roger and hammerstein version of cinderella has some good music. Its the one with whitney houston(pre drugs) and Brandy. I can't think of any songs in particular right now. There was another version of cinderella. I think it was with gwenyth paltrow or drew barrymore but it has a soundtrack. Or there is the always beauty and the beast song.

Are you playing a recorded version of the songs or will you have musicians? Sometimes musicians can use the tune of a song you like and make it sound more elegant with a piano or strings or something. Ooo and I went to a wedding last summer where the children in the wedding walked to the beauty and the beast song! So cute! :)

I just ordered the old, old Julie Andrews version that they say has beautiful music...I'll let you know. "Someday My Prince Will Come" might work too.

You know what? I'm not sure if this is the same song you are talking about, but my mom said I should listen to the wedding song from the Sound of Music. Is that the Julie Andrews one you are talking about? I really want to hear it now!

This Julie Andrews version of Cinderella is an old television version from the late 50's...but they say the music in it is gorgeous...so I squandered $9 and it's on it's way :)

I think "Someday my Prince Will Come" may be from Snow White....it's a Disney song.
